Over their 35-year journey, DB Consulting Engineers have been going beyond client requirements, delivering quality work, on time, and with an emphasis on great communication.
This mission and purpose has continued to evolve as they have developed their range of services and expanded their team around the North Island.
In 2018, as they marked their 35-year anniversary, ninetyblack collaborated with DB Consulting Engineers on a new identity, including a transformation of their brand and logo, aiming to better connect with their clients and communicate their core values of innovation, strength and people.
Symbolising strength and out-of-the-box thinking, with a combination of geometrical forms (they’re engineers), the new brand marks this milestone and beginning of a new chapter with new faces of leadership, while remaining rooted to DB Consulting Engineers’ core fundamentals of innovation, strength and people.View our branding packages
The triangles symbolise strength – built up by 35 years of business, a robust team, and demonstrated success in delivering in both structural and civil engineering.
The open box is one that they always think outside of – driving thinking and innovation.
Blue and yellow represent the two main services – structural and civil engineering, which over time have overlapped to create the third colour, signifying the evolution of these services and creating a range of new offerings stemming from just structural and civil engineering.
